PTA 113 - Physical Agents

3 Lecture / 3 Lab / 4 Credits
The students will learn theory on pain and its management, the relationship of skin integrity and physical agents, physiological responses and physical agents, and the theory and application of thermal agents, external compression, massage, and mechanical traction. Laboratory skill competency checks are mandatory and may be scheduled in addition to laboratory class. Prerequisites: BIOL 201 , PTA 100 , PTA 101 , PTA 102L  and PTA 103 .
