BUS 310 - Business Analytics

3 Credits
This course immerses students in information systems principles and concepts as well as the influence systems have in business management. The emphasis is on problem solving techniques using spreadsheet, database, and as needed, other analytical tools. Students develop their spreadsheet understanding and capabilities to at least the intermediate level and improve upon introductory skills and concepts regarding business aptitude. At the end of the course, students are encouraged to complete the Microsoft Excel Certification Exam. Prereqs: BUS 110 ; MATH 220 .
