NUAS 275T - Mental Health Nursing

3 Credits
This course focuses on the development of therapeutic communication skills utilized with patients experiencing mental health disorders. The nursing process, stress-adaptation model, and physical and psychosocial nursing diagnoses are included. This knowledge assists students in interacting with patients and families as partners and collaborators in the care-giving process. Prerequisites: ENGL 110 , PSYC 102 , NUAS 220T , NUAS 240T , NUAS 240C . Corequisites: NUAS 260T  & NUAS 260C .
