PTA 270 - Neurology in Physical Therapy

2 Lecture / 4 Lab / 4 Credits

This course consists of the study of the nervous system including basic neuroanatomy, sensory and motor systems, neurodevelopmental sequence, and selected neurological disabilities commonly seen in the field of physical therapy. Emphasis is on the etiology, pathology, and clinical picture of diseases and appropriate physical therapy interventions. Prerequisites: PTA 114, PTA 116, PTA 161, PTA 220.
