PTA 235 - Rehabilitation 2 Lecture / 2 Lab / 3 Credits Applying previously learned material, this course will explore contemporary practice of specific examination and intervention techniques for a variety of physical therapy patient populations including pediatrics, amputation management, wound care, women’s health, ergonomics, industrial rehab, and geriatrics. Rehabilitation programs, including indications and contraindications, are explained and applied to patient case studies. Laboratory skills competency checks are mandatory and may be scheduled in addition to laboratory class time. Prerequisites: PTA 114 , PTA 116 , PTA 161 , PTA 220 .
