Scientific Communications Minor

Upon completion of the Scientific Communications minor, the student will be able to:

  1. integrate and apply knowledge and experience from scientific disciplines using analytical thinking skills, information tools and computer applications to interpret data and answer questions;
  2. understand and apply basic statistical analyses in scientific reasoning;
  3. demonstrate respectful communication within groups to function cooperatively in a team setting; and
  4. demonstrate proficiency in oral and written communication.

Required Courses


Sequential Courses in Biology, Chemistry or Science: 8 Credits


Total Credits for the Minor: 20 Credits


NOTE: Students in the Bachelor of Science - Interdisciplinary Studies: Occupational Therapy  program must complete BL 201 - Anatomy and Physiology I  and BL 202 - Anatomy and Physiology II  in order to complete the necessary degree requirements.
