3-12 CreditsThis course provides the opportunity for a student to work with an organization or agency and gain practical knowledge of the field. Minimum academic requirement for the internship will include a comprehensive paper describing work experiences at the site and written assignments regarding research articles assigned by the faculty supervisor. The internship may or may not be compensated. A student, under a faculty supervisor’s guidance, may also design a project to conduct independently. Course is repeatable for up to twelve (12) credits. Prerequisite: Sophomore standing and an overall 2.0 GPA. This course is offered as needed.
