ASL 201 - American Sign Language III

3 Credits
The course is an advanced course in ASL designed to develop the student’s ability to master the semantics of ASL. The focus will be on the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively translate passages from either spoken or written English into American Sign Language. Student production skills will be evaluated via videotape. Students will also be required to attend Deaf events and be involved in the Deaf community. Prerequisites: ASL 103 .
