MATH 111 - The Three C’s: Calculate, Compute, Critique

Did I get the best deal on that new car? Which is more likely - winning the Mega Millions lottery or being hit by the Megabus? What is the real cost of the spring break trip I just charged to my credit card? The Three Cs: Calculate, Compute, Critique will provide students with the necessary tools to use mathematical solutions in everyday decisions. Students will never wonder if they will use what they are learning because this course will engage students in relevant and useful mathematics they can apply to their daily lives.
