BIOL 230 - Human Muscle Anatomy 1 Lecture / 3 Lab / 2 credits The anatomy of the human skeletal muscular system will be studied in detail from a regional perspective. Students will learn to identify muscles, their attributes, and related bony and surface land marks. This class is designed specifically to help students prepare for Clinical Kinesiology (PTA 214 ), but it is open to any student who has met the prerequisites. Prerequisites: Anatomy and Physiology I (BIOL 201 ) OR Comparative Vertebrate Anatomy (BIOL 320 ). Co-requisite: Anatomy and Physiology II (BIOL 202 ) is required as a corequisite if BIOL 201 was used to fulfill the prerequisite. This course is offered every spring.
